In this role you’ll:
In this role you will be a hands-on HR Operations Specialist, managing the entire employee life-cycle from recruiting, making incoming and existing employees’ experiences seamless as they onboard, get paid, transfer teams, and grow at the company.
At the same time you will work on strategic initiatives, helping our team scale and focusing on aleno’s culture. You will also be utilizing our systems and implementing new ones and searching for ways to streamline/optimize how we work. To summarize you’ll
- Review and improve existing HR practices for efficiency and compliance, with a focus on process automation and alignment with industry standards.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leadership, helping shape company culture and values to support future growth.
- Oversee recruiting efforts, including creating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and executing an employer branding strategy.
- Maintain and implement HR systems, ensure accurate data tracking for payroll, compliance, and reporting, and handle immigration, insurance, and onboarding.
- Liaise with payroll and insurance providers, manage updates and communications for employees, and ensure accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration.
- Act as the primary contact for HR inquiries, provide reports, and collaborate on cross-functional projects to support company-wide initiatives.
What you’ll bring along:
- 3-5 years experience in a global, growth environment, ideally with exposure to recruiting and payroll processes.
- C1 in English and German native level; Swiss German is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to handling employee data, ensuring accuracy and identifying patterns.
- Effective project management skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders across functions.
- Proficiency in HR systems (e.g. Personio) to digitize our HR processes, and the ability to implement it.
- Friendly, approachable communication style, maintaining confidentiality and a customer-service attitude with a balanced sense of humor.
