A few years ago we started our own restaurant. The "Wirtschaft im Franz", the first crowdfunded restaurant in Switzerland, a good place, gathering good people, making a difference together: great seasonal, organic, fair food while paying fair wages. We can do that, we can do better - that's what we thought.
Though we have always achieved our ideals - we made no profit for long. Reservation management, planning, marketing – way too much effort, far too high the costs. We wanted to spend more time with our guests, and less time with paper work. We desperately wanted and needed to automate repetitive tasks.
