Accessibility Information

The company listed in the imprint (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Our”, or “Us”) is committed to making the digital services on our reservation widget and associated email communications (hereinafter referred to as “Offer”) accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended for the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) regarding the accessibility requirements of products and services. The implementation of accessibility requirements is based on the Directive for Accessible Web Content – WCAG 2.1 AA level and EU harmonised standards, in particular the EN 301 549 v3.2.1

The Offer includes a web-based reservation system widget for restaurants, as well as automated email communications related to bookings. The Offer is not entirely subject to the scope of the Accessibility Act.

Non-Accessible Content

The following content, which is subject to the accessibility requirements, is currently not fully accessible:

  • WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)

Some interface elements in the widget may not fully meet minimum contrast ratio requirements in all color configurations. These are configurable by our customers. All standard configurations meet minimum contrast ratio requirements.

Note: Other WCAG success criteria related to audio or video content (e.g., subtitles, audio descriptions) are not applicable, as the Offer does not contain video or audio-based user interface elements.

Creation of the Accessibility Information

This accessibility information was created based on an internal evaluation of the platform’s compliance with accessibility requirements in the form of a self-test according to WCAG 2.1 AA level, conducted between May 15 and June 25, 2025.

The evaluation included:

  • Manual keyboard navigation testing of the widget and emails
  • Screen reader testing for core booking flows
  • Automated accessibility testing using Axe DevTools
  • External feedback from an accessibility agency (shared via one of our customers)

As part of this process, we made the following improvements:

  • Added alt text for all relevant images in the widget and email templates
  • Enabled keyboard-only navigation across the booking widget
  • Improved the screen reader compatibility of automated emails
